Minis At the Mill

For over 30 years, Minis at the Mill has been, and continues to be, one of the premier gatherings of Mini enthusiasts from South Australia as well as Australia-wide.

MATM is one of the largest club organised events held at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood (also known as the Birdwood Mill or the Mill). It provides a forum where like-minded individuals can exchange ideas and knowledge about one of the world's most popular vehicles. At the same time, admiring examples of the marque ranging from full-blown race cars, to daily driven transport and the meticulously restored.

The event is held annually on the first Sunday in November.

Entry is usually $20 per car (vehicle occupant numbers are limited to the legal seating capacity). This is for Mini owners who would like to 'show and shine' their car, regardless of whether the intent is also to enter it into the Best Presented Competition. Tickets to MATM also include entry into the National Motor Museum to view their fantastic vehicular exhibitions and activities.

There are 8 categories / classes which can be entered for the Best Presented Competition:

Original | Modified | Competition | Moke | BMW Mini 'R' | BMW Mini 'F' | People's Choice | Best in Show.

Spectators are welcome. Entry is via general admission to the National Motor Museum on the day if you are not entering a vehicle, which includes access to the grounds for MATM.
