The club meets at the Albion Hotel in Kilburn on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Come at 6.30pm if you would like to share a good ole' pub meal, discuss past or present Mini projects, debrief on the last event or just to catch up.

Meetings start at 8pm and is chaired by the current Club President.

The Albion Hotel, 423 Churchill Road, Kilburn.

The club has a strong history of motorsport, with many of our members also on Motorsport-related committees in South Australia. Not everyone gets involved in motorsport, but most of us support it in some way, whether by being officials at events, or simply turning up to support club competitors. The main purpose of motorsport is to improve your driving skills and have fun doing it, and this purpose is met every time you participate, regardless of whether you win, lose or draw.

Motorsport events will be added to this page and shared with our Facebook group as soon as they come up on the calendar.

Looking for information about an event that isn't listed on our page? Here are some other sites:

This is the club's annual pilgrimage to the Hay Mini Nationals over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend. The event is organised by the Mini Club of SA (not Hot Bricks), with most of our members either competing in the motorkhana or assisting as officials.

The weekend consists of a street parade, a show and shine of Minis and all their derivatives from all around Australia, a couple of days of motorkhana (including an evening showdown and fireworks), then finishing with a presentation dinner and dance.

We encourage as many members as possible to represent the club at Hay - there is a club trophy that all the Mini Clubs across Australia compete for, and we would love to bring that back to Hot Bricks.

Minis at the Hill is a hillclimb event at Collingrove. It's often held on the first Saturday in November, closely followed by Minis at the Mill on the first Sunday in November, making for a huge weekend to celebrate all things mini.

Minis at the Mill is a show and shine event held at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Minis at the Mill is organised by Hot Bricks. We have show and shine categories and there are trophies and prizes to be won. To find out more about Minis at the Mill, please have a look over here!

The club also runs regular social events - from morning weekend car cruises through the more scenic routes throughout Adelaide, to water-ski weekends in Blanchetown, movie nights and go-kart racing.

Keep an eye on our calendar here and on the Facebook group for updates on cruises / socials as they are planned - we are also always open to suggestions for social events throughout the year.

What: Collingrove Hillclimb – competitors race up a 750m narrow winding track, against the clock to get the best time. There is plenty of action, and it’s a good fun, family-friendly day.

The site is owned by the Sporting Car Club of SA (SCCSA). The hillclimb event on Oct 25 is being run by our friends at the Nissan Datsun Car Club (NDCC) who generously allow Minis to join them on the day.

This event is part of the Hot Bricks drivers championship. Click here for more information about Hot Bricks Motorsport Driver of the Year

How to enter: Entries for existing motorsport licence holders will be via the Motorsport Australia portal. Come and try entries are available. The maximum number of entries across both clubs is 50.

Please ensure you read the supplementary regulations when you enter, as you may need to supply NDCC with further information.

For more information you can also look at the Nissan Datsun Car Club SA website > events. Scroll down the page until you see NDCC Hillclimb challenge 2025. [Nissan Datsun Car Club SA - Events & Meetings]
