AGM and Monthly General Meeting
Update:
As discussed a few times at General Meetings recently, the Committee have over the last year drafted a set of By-Laws to sit below our Constitutional Rules. These will provide further guidance on Club operations, and be a record of other important items in governance. Among other things, it is proposed to include meeting procedures, officer roles, Honorary Membership guidance, a register of assets, requirements for the use of and maintenance of the Driver Development Car, and a Members Code of Conduct.
To the knowledge of past Committees that we have consulted with, there is no current set of Club By-Laws, and so this draft document is proposed to become "the" Club By-Laws going forward.
In accordance with the Club Constitution, a General Meeting of the Club shall have the power to enact, repeal and amend By-Laws, through a simple majority vote of Full Members present (notice of a General Meeting requires at least 7 days notice). The Committee therefore does not propose a Special General Meeting to vote on the implementation of these proposed By-Laws.
2025 Proposed By-Laws

The monthly club General Meeting is held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Albion Hotel, 423 Churchill Road, Kilburn.
Join us at 6.30 pm if you would like to share a meal and have a chat about your mini project, past or present events, or just generally get to know other club members.
To all Members, please consider this as notification of our 2026 AGM!
Our committee have been forward planning and discussing the AGM. We have a great team of volunteers continuing on in certain roles, but we will need further assistance next year with some members stepping down from their 2025 roles.
We invite you all to the Albion Hotel on 13 January, 6.30pm for a meal, 8.00pm for the AGM.
If you have considered joining the committee, we are especially interested in forming a fresh-faced and enthusiastic Social Committee, and a Minis at the Mill Organising Committee. We have crucial roles to fill come January.
That all said, all committee positions will be thrown open to the floor on the night, and we welcome new members to the committee in all positions. You never know, you may be perfectly suited to a certain role, and it would allow the current person to move into another role that suits their skill set (if you are a finance wizard, maybe you could be our next long-term Treasurer. If you are a born leader, maybe we need you to direct the club into 2026 as President).
