The club meets at the Albion Hotel in Kilburn on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Come at 6.30pm if you would like to share a good ole' pub meal, discuss past or present Mini projects, debrief on the last event or just to catch up.

Meetings start at 8pm and is chaired by the current Club President.

The Albion Hotel, 423 Churchill Road, Kilburn.

The club has a strong history of motorsport, with many of our members also on Motorsport-related committees in South Australia. Not everyone gets involved in motorsport, but most of us support it in some way, whether by being officials at events, or simply turning up to support club competitors. The main purpose of motorsport is to improve your driving skills and have fun doing it, and this purpose is met every time you participate, regardless of whether you win, lose or draw.

Motorsport events will be added to this page and shared with our Facebook group as soon as they come up on the calendar.

Looking for information about an event that isn't listed on our page? Here are some other sites:

This is the club's annual pilgrimage to the Hay Mini Nationals over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend. The event is organised by the Mini Club of SA (not Hot Bricks), with most of our members either competing in the motorkhana or assisting as officials.

The weekend consists of a street parade, a show and shine of Minis and all their derivatives from all around Australia, a couple of days of motorkhana (including an evening showdown and fireworks), then finishing with a presentation dinner and dance.

We encourage as many members as possible to represent the club at Hay - there is a club trophy that all the Mini Clubs across Australia compete for, and we would love to bring that back to Hot Bricks.

Minis at the Hill is a hillclimb event at Collingrove. It's often held on the first Saturday in November, closely followed by Minis at the Mill on the first Sunday in November, making for a huge weekend to celebrate all things mini.

Minis at the Mill is a show and shine event held at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood. Minis at the Mill is organised by Hot Bricks. We have show and shine categories and there are trophies and prizes to be won. To find out more about Minis at the Mill, please have a look over here!

The club also runs regular social events - from morning weekend car cruises through the more scenic routes throughout Adelaide, to water-ski weekends in Blanchetown, movie nights and go-kart racing.

Keep an eye on our calendar here and on the Facebook group for updates on cruises / socials as they are planned - we are also always open to suggestions for social events throughout the year.

Once again, the lawns of the National Motor Museum in Birdwood is descended upon by over 100 Minis, Mokes, MINIS, and everything in between.

If you own a Mini - classic or modern - Moke, or Mini derivative, we encourage you to enter Minis at the Mill and put your vehicle on display.

Your $25 admission price includes free entry to the Best Presented Competition, and to the National Motor Museum displays.

Alternatively, if you are not entering a vehicle, and you just love looking at Minis or Mokes, join us on the day through the main entrance of the National Motor Museum.

Online ticket sales to the event are now open. Pre-sales close on 29 October.

Entry is $25 per car, with each person given entry subject to the legal seating capacity of the car.

As always, you can pay at the gate by card, Paywave, or cash on the day.

If you are paying with cash, it helps our volunteers if you have the correct amount.

For those entrants who pre-purchase entry, please make sure you have your confirmation email ready to show at the gate on entry.

Gates open for entrants at 10:00am. There is strictly no early admittance. The event will conclude at 2:00pm.

Please note that if you are not a Hot Bricks member, the purchase of a ticket to MATM will also constitute a ‘day membership’ to the club for the day of the event. You will be prompted to provide your name and email address as part of the ticket purchase.

Vehicle entry to Minis at the Mill is via the Church Street gate only.

The National Motor Museum advises the following:
• Dogs or other animals are not permitted. If any attendees arrive with an animal, they may be asked to leave by the museum. Accredited assistance animals with appropriate credentials are permitted.
• No pegs are to be used on the museum grounds. All marquees and shelters are to use adequate weights.
• In the event that a Fire Danger Rating CATASTROPHIC (Code Red) level is declared by the CFS for the Mount Lofty District, the Museum will be closed.
